Antes de empezar
Know who this guide is for and what you will have by its final page.
You are reading this because you have an idea for a product, or a skill you think people will pay for, and you are tired of watching others do it badly. You do not need to be technical, you do not need a marketing degree, and you do not need a big budget. What you need is a clear sequence to follow, and that sequence is what this guide gives you. By the time you finish the final page you will have a live store, with products listed, a way to take payments, a delivery plan, and a first promotion ready to send. That is the promise, and it does not depend on luck.
The first move is not to build anything. It is to write down the answers to five questions on a blank sheet of paper. What product are you selling? Who specifically wants it? How much can you charge for it? How will you get it to them? And what will you do in the first hour of your day for the next month when nobody orders? Take twenty minutes and answer them with the first honest thing that comes to mind. A vague answer like ‘people who like fitness’ is not enough. Name one person you know who fits, and ask yourself whether that person would hand over cash for this product today. If you cannot answer yes, you have not chosen the product yet.
The most common mistake people make at this stage is to fall in love with a product and then try to find a customer for it. You will save weeks if you reverse that order. Start with a specific frustration you have experienced or watched a friend deal with in the last month, and find a product that removes it. For example, a runner who keeps losing their keys and phone on early morning runs may need a small, bright armband with a zip pocket and a reflective strip. You can check the demand by searching for ‘running armband phone holder’ and seeing how many listings exist, but more importantly you can ask three local runners whether they would use one and what they would pay. If they say no, you have lost an hour, not a month.
