Who This Book Is For
Answer whether this course fits you and how to work through it.
By the end of this lesson, you can judge whether this course fits your situation and you know exactly how to work through it to reach your first paying client. You should already have a basic idea that AI tools can produce text, images and video, and you likely have used one free tool such as ChatGPT or Canva at least once. If you have not, that is fine, you will pick it up as you go. But you do need to be honest about one thing: you have time to spend on this, even if it is only one hour a day, because this course will not do the work for you. It gives you a sequence of actions, and you are the one who must take them.
The course is for a beginner who wants to earn money from home by selling simple AI-assisted services to small businesses and creators. They may have no freelancing experience at all, and they may not even know which service to offer. They are not looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, they have seen too many of those already. They want a realistic path that respects their limited budget and their lack of a portfolio. If that sounds like you, then this course fits. If you already have a busy freelancing business with ten clients, this course is below your level. If you expect to earn a thousand pounds in your first week, this course will disappoint you, because it teaches honest work that builds over weeks, not magic.
What this course does not assume is that you are technical. You do not need to know how to code, how to design a website or how to edit video with professional software. You do need to be able to follow a clear written instruction and to click through a simple interface. You also need to communicate in English at a basic level, because you will write messages to business owners. The tools you will use are the same ones a complete beginner can learn in an afternoon: ChatGPT for writing, Canva for design, CapCut for short video, and a few others that appear in later lessons. Each service in this course comes with a list of beginner-friendly tools, so you never have to guess what to install.
